Job summary

DSI Security Services is hiring a Security Officer I for the Wilmington, IL area, covering night shifts from 11 PM to 7 AM, including weekends. You will help maintain safety for our clients, employees, and the public with professionalism and customer service.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a high school diploma, reliable transportation, basic computer skills, and strong communication. Join a nationwide security provider focused on integrity and career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation and means of communication.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions.
• Must meet all preemployment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols.
• Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity.
• Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions.
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely.
• Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals.
