Job summary

DSI Security Services is seeking a Security Officer for Streamwood, IL to join a diverse, client‑facing security team committed to DWYSYWD principles.

Shifts are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 PM–6 AM, with a pay rate of $18.23 per hour. Benefits include health, dental, and vision, 401k with company match, paid training, and uniforms.

Qualifications

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Reliable transportation and means of communication.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions.
• Must successfully pass all pre‑employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols
• Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity
• Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely
• Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals
