Job summary

DSI Security Services in Greer, SC is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to protect clients, staff and the public. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and strict adherence to post instructions across shifts in a dynamic environment.

As a Security Officer, you will maintain security through presence and patrols, document incidents, and cooperate with teams while upholding client requirements and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Reliable transportation and means of communication.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions.
• Must pass all required background checks and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols.
• Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity.
• Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions.
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely.
• Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals.
