Job summary

DSI Security Services in Romeoville, IL is seeking a reliable Part Time Security Officer to join our team. The role focuses on maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering excellent customer service to visitors and staff.

The position is part-time with Saturday and Sunday night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM (12-hour shifts). Pay rate is $19.00 per hour, with benefits including health, 401k with company match, uniforms, and recognition programs.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during shifts.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work part-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must successfully pass all pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, ensuring safety and security protocols are followed.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors.
• Maintain accurate and detailed reports of daily activities and irregularities.
• Assist in enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary.
