Job summary

Heritage Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Security Officer to protect guests and property while promoting a safe, welcoming environment. The role involves active patrols, incident reporting, and coordination with leadership to ensure smooth operations across our Albuquerque properties.

You will monitor for suspicious activity, respond to emergencies, and support guest services such as valet and housekeeping as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification and valid New Mexico Driver's License required.
• Hospitality security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor with guests and staff.
• Communicate incidents and assignments to leadership.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
• Deter crime through proactive patrols and visible presence.
• Monitor for unusual activity and take action per policy.
• Use sound judgment in high‑risk situations.
• Assist guests with concerns and debrief teammates.
• Provide a safe and welcoming environment for guests and employees.
• Respond to emergencies per established procedures and notify appropriate personnel.
• Patrol property areas and assist with access, valet, and housekeeping support as needed.
• Complete incident reports and logs with confidentiality.
• Assist in developing and delivering security procedures and training.
• Remain flexible to support sister properties as needed.
