Job summary

Heritage Hotels & Resorts, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to maintain safety and security across our Albuquerque-area properties.

The role emphasizes proactive patrols, incident reporting, and clear communication with leadership to deter incidents and ensure a welcoming environment for guests and team members. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and a New Mexico driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous security-related experience or a hospitality security background is preferred.
• CPR certification and valid New Mexico driver's license are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor with guests and staff.
• Communicate assignments and incidents with leadership.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Reduce opportunities for crime through proactive patrols and visible presence.
• Monitor for unusual activity and act per company policies.
• Use sound judgment to manage high-risk situations.
• Assist guests with concerns and debrief with team.
• Respond to emergencies per procedures and notify appropriate personnel.
• Patrol all areas and assist with guest services as needed.
• Complete incident reports and logs, maintaining confidentiality.
