Summary :

Typically an entry-level position for someone with no prior security experience, or for those with some law enforcement or military background needing additional training to acclimate to the private security environment. Responsibilities may include standing individual posts in less complex environments or alongside more senior officers; providing employee or member escort duties; monitoring alarms and cameras; signing in visitors; assisting in badging or other security operations activities. This is a full-time flex officer position with no fixed shift schedule.

Valid Driver's License Required.

• Conduct periodic tours to secure areas.
• Check for irregularities.
• Be in charge of preserving order.
• Enforce regulations pertaining to personnel and visitors.
• Protect staff and property from theft, damage, hazards, or interference, including potential workplace violence.
• Control access to the client facility through the admittance process.
• Maintain good public relations when interacting with visitors and staff.
• Monitor entrances and exits.
• Provide information regarding the facility and surrounding areas as requested by visitors.
• Prevent unapproved or unlawful entry.
• Prepare logs or reports as required for the post.
• Observe and report incidents.
