Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Deescalation Patrol in Milton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to security-related concerns and contribute to a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.32 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with hospital staff and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts when requested, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with site leadership regarding incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
