Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check per laws.
• Drug screen per law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual activity.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, checking credentials, and directing patients/visitors.
• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Care Environment Patrol in Milton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, checking credentials when required, and directing patients and visitors to appropriate locations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
