Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Overnight Patrol Driver in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials as directed, and documenting visitor or contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, communicate observations to appropriate personnel, and support a professional, welcoming environment for all individuals at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in proximity to a morgue.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
