• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site-specific procedures and hospital policies.

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify hazards and access concerns.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor management, and support facility entry procedures.
• Complete accurate reports and incident documentation for leadership and site contacts.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Healthcare Response in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while working as part of a team. Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

Job Schedule

DayTime Mon 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Fri 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Sat 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Sun 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and adherence to facility entry procedures while maintaining a courteous presence.
• Complete accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
