Job summary

Allied Universal in Sterling, VA is seeking a part-time Healthcare Security Professional to monitor hospital areas, deter incidents, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will maintain a visible presence and support a respectful care environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of security-related experience, vaccine compliance, and ability to work around a hospital morgue.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.71 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

• Ability to meet hospital vaccine requirements is required.
• Ability to work in and around a hospital morgue is required.
• Ability to restrain individuals when necessary is required.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
