Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Clinical Support Security Officer in Fredericksburg, VA to protect patients, visitors and staff within a hospital environment. You will perform security-related procedures, monitor access, respond calmly to incidents, and patrol buildings, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.

You’ll join a team that values customer service, teamwork and integrity while working with shifts arranged through the Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
