Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site procedures and responding to events in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate responders.
• Monitor access points and observe activity; report unusual activity and security concerns.
• Complete incident reports and logs in accordance with policies.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual activity and security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
