Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Patrol Customer Relations in Fullerton, CA. You will patrol healthcare facilities, assist patients and staff, and respond to emergencies while delivering excellent customer service.

The role operates on a swing shift with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour, emphasizing professional conduct, teamwork, and safety.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21+ for armed roles; possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required for employment accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law and licensing requirements may apply.
• Guard card or license preferred; CPR certification preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet; lifting up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and vendors per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral health concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with wayfinding, and maintain awareness of restricted areas in accordance with site‑specific policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately; communicate relevant information to site leadership, emergency responders, and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
