Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Response in Danville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service. You will respond to concerns, communicate clearly, and help maintain a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Age Requirement:
  • All candidates must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application. This requirement is in place to comply with industry regulations and ensure a mature workforce.
• Security Experience:
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of security experience. This experience should be relevant to the position being applied for and may include roles in security personnel, law enforcement, or related fields.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Candidates must demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using a computer or tablet. This includes familiarity with basic software applications, email communication, and digital reporting tools.
• X-Ray Screening Experience:
  • For specific positions, candidates should have prior X-ray screening experience. This experience is essential for roles that involve security screening processes, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific requirements and healthcare privacy practices.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
