Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Butler, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Healthcare Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $17.05 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual activity and security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
