Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state regulations.
• As applicable, a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Patrol Customer Relations in Fullerton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral health concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with wayfinding, and maintain awareness of restricted areas in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately; communicate relevant information to site leadership, emergency responders, and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
