Qualifications

• Vaccination requirements for hospital staff.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Ability to work in a hospital morgue.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check required by law; drug screen applicable.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and according to protocol, notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, creating a welcoming environment.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate with site leadership and Allied Universal management regarding incidents.

Security Officer Morgue Security Patrol

As a Security Officer Morgue Security Patrol in Thornton, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and help support a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site leadership, healthcare staff, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
