Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Morgue Security Patrol in Thornton, CO. You will serve and safeguard clients across healthcare settings, conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

This full-time, unarmed role offers a pay rate of $21.63 per hour with a night-shift schedule (Mon, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM).

Qualifications

• Must have hospital vaccination, background check, and drug screen as part of employment
• At least 6 months of security experience required
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue and restrain individuals in a hospital setting
• Customer service experience preferred
• Age 18+ (21+ for armed roles)
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws
• Driver's license required for driving positions only
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories per law
• Comfortable restraining adults, elderly and sometimes children

Job Description

As a Security Officer Morgue Security Patrol in Thornton, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, helping to support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations involving restricted areas and/or individuals requiring restraint, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and help support a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site leadership, healthcare staff, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• Comfortable with restraining adults, elderly and sometimes children
