Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will undergo a background check.
• Allied Universal conducts drug screening where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local law.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, corridors, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control procedures, and reporting of unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
