Job summary

The Mint Gaming Hall Cumberland in Kentucky is seeking a security professional to ensure guest safety and smooth operations. You will escort guests, respond to incidents, and assist authorities as needed, while maintaining high service standards and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include patrolling the property, handling money and person security, training new team members, and upholding all company policies. This is a customer-focused, safety-driven role requiring flexibility across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old and pass background checks.
• Ability to work day, swing, late-night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Must obtain required work cards and non-gaming registration.
• Internal candidates must meet Transfer and Promotion policy.

Responsibilities

• Gives directions and escorts guests in need.
• Provides assistance to civil and law enforcement authorities.
• Assists with jackpot verifications as needed.
• Regularly escorts money and persons in money handling positions.
• Provides emergency first aid to guests and team members as necessary.
• Patrols property to identify safety hazards and security gaps.
• Interviews, investigates, and documents incidences per policy.
• Records Lost & Found descriptions of people and incidents.
• Uses security radio professionally.
• Maintain attendance and adhere to policies.
• Work in fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Provide BIG service to guests, greeting and interacting warmly.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with staff and guests.
• Ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
