Job summary

Sizemore, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to uphold safety and security at the assigned facility. You will enforce access control, monitor activity, and report violations while embodying the company values of Flexibility, Improvement, Reliability, Safety and Teamwork.

Responsibilities include patrolling, documenting DARs and incident reports, controlling access, and responding to emergencies. Requires 18+, HS/GED, and preferably security/military experience; MS Office skills helpful.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Experience in security, military or law enforcement preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office programs.
• Demonstrate service and professionalism in demeanor.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates initiative and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises.
• Document security activity with Daily Activity Report (DAR) and incident reports.
• Control vehicle and personnel access per procedures.
• Respond to emergencies per established procedures.
• Operate specialized equipment (CCTV, vehicle scales, computer systems).
• Prevent losses by reporting irregularities and enforcing policy.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Enforce Sizemore's and client's policies and procedures.
• Other tasks may be assigned as required.
