Job summary

Sizemore, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to maintain the safety and security of our facility. You will enforce access control, observe and report violations, and support Sizemore’s values of flexibility, reliability, safety and teamwork.

This position requires at least 18 years old and a high school diploma or GED. Security or military experience is preferred. Shift is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00am–3:00pm, paying $14.00 per hour in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Security, military or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office; not required but preferred.
• Demonstrate service and professionalism through conduct and demeanor.
• Patience, tact, enthusiasm and diplomacy in all interactions.
• Initiative and sound judgement in evaluating situations.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving with attention to detail.
• Read and comprehend detailed instructions; communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor premises to maintain a safe environment.
• Document security activity with DAR and incident reports.
• Control vehicle and personnel access per procedures.
• Respond to emergencies following established procedures.
• Operate CCTV and other security equipment as needed.
• Report irregularities and enforce policies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of security processes.
• Enforce client policies and Sizemore standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
