Job summary

Sizemore, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment at our facilities, enforcing access control, observing and reporting violations, and supporting core values of flexibility, improvement, reliability, safety, and teamwork.

Applicants should be at least 18, with a high school diploma or GED; prior security or military experience is preferred. Proficiency with MS Office is desirable, and the role requires diplomacy, vigilance, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Prior security, military or law enforcement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure environment by patrolling and monitoring premises.
• Documents security activity with DAR and incident reports.
• Controls vehicle and personnel access per procedures.
• Responds to emergencies per established procedures.
• Operates CCTV, scales and computer systems as needed.
• Prevents losses by reporting irregularities and enforcing policy.
• Drives improvement to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
• Enforces Sizemore’s and client’s policies and procedures.
• Other tasks may be assigned as required.
