Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Philadelphia, PA. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts, allowing flexible hours and the potential to scale up toward a full-time schedule.

The pay rate is $21.00 per hour, with weekend hours (Sat 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Sun 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM). Candidates must meet minimum requirements and will undergo background checks and drug screening as required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the logistics and distribution location, including buildings, parking areas, loading docks, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and vehicle activity, verify authorized personnel and visitors, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver Route Verification in Philadelphia, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Two or more years of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
