Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced to provide reliable site coverage at a Philadelphia location. As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Credential Verification in Philadelphia, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, campus concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; communicate observations and relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, grounds, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
