Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced for part-time shifts in Philadelphia, PA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with potential to pick up additional hours through our scheduling platform, allowing you to earn more while gaining hands-on experience in a premier security services environment.

You will protect people and property, monitor access, respond to incidents, and maintain professional conduct at a commercial real estate site.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner with appropriate notifications.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions and maintenance concerns with accurate documentation.
• Control access for authorized individuals and provide directions to maintain a professional environment.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver Route Navigation in Philadelphia, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Tue 12:00 AM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security‑related incidents while maintaining accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Control access for authorized individuals, verify visitor and vendor entry as required, and provide directions or assistance to support a professional property environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
