• Subject to background investigation and drug screening as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations and document actions taken.
• Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, access-control concerns, and hazards.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 04:30 AM - 10:00 AM
• Sun: 04:30 AM - 11:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, access-control concerns, and/or potential hazards in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
