Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a part-time Security Officer in Baldwinsville, NY. You will provide customer service, deter security incidents, and report observations across a logistics and distribution site.

Responsibilities include patrols, access monitoring, and documenting activities. Minimum NYS Security Guard License required; background check and drug screen apply.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and visitors, and report unusual activity, damaged property, or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately in site logs and electronic reporting systems.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM


• Tue: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM


• Wed: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:
