Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Coordination in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an educational location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to students, staff, and visitors. Pay Rate: $15.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and families while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an educational location.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with school personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.


• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
