Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Philadelphia, PA. You will monitor facilities, deter incidents, assist with access control, and deliver excellent service to patients and staff in healthcare settings.

Role emphasizes responding calmly to emergencies, conducting regular patrols, and reporting incidents to leadership. Minimum requirements include HS diploma and background checks, with CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access points and assist with visitor guidance and adherence to access procedures.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents, observations and patrol activities for leadership.

Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

• Mon 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Tue 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Wed 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Thur 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Fri 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor guidance, wayfinding, and adherence to facility access procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and/or patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
