Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, loading docks, parking areas and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor and delivery credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents and other security-related activities accurately and completely in accordance with site and Allied Universal procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Interior Patrol in Aurora IL this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.72 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works

Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
