Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Healthcare Facility in Denver, CO. This role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts when it works for you.

The position offers a part-time schedule with anchor shifts, a six-month commitment, and a program to claim extra shifts across multiple sites. You will greet visitors, monitor access, and respond to incidents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Alarm/panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Serve as a front desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying access authorization, and directing guests in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor visitor activity, maintain logs and records, and communicate relevant information to site personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Help deter unauthorized access by observing entry points and reporting unusual activity.

As a Security Officer Healthcare Facility in Denver, CO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
