Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Philadelphia, PA. This unarmed role offers fixed anchor shifts with a six‑month commitment and optional extra shifts to boost earnings.

You will provide security procedures, access control, and incident reporting at a logistics site. The position emphasizes customer service, hands‑on patrols, and the ability to respond calmly to incidents.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific security procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building perimeters, and other designated locations to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and delivery personnel, and document visitor and vehicle activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining awareness of package handling and transportation operations.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Inspection Reporting in Philadelphia, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.41 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 09:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
