Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet preferred.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 (unarmed) or 21+ (armed).
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals and belongings in accordance with site procedures, identifying prohibited items or irregular conditions and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Verify visitor access requirements, direct guests to appropriate locations, and maintain professional communication while supporting a controlled entry process.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and the surrounding business perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have X-ray screening experience, preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
