Job summary

Allied Universal in Georgetown, IN is hiring a Security Officer for Full Time Unarmed Patrol. You will patrol and monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

In this role, you will respond to incidents, prepare clear reports, and collaborate with site teams. A background check and drug screen are part of employment, with CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the technology-focused location, including building interiors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and potential security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.

Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour

• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

• CPR certification is preferred.
