Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Security in Georgetown, IN to serve clients across tech/media sectors. You will conduct patrols, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service in a welcoming, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, entry points, parking areas, loading docks, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, and assist with visitor, contractor, and vendor access processes.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations promptly to appropriate personnel and follow established reporting procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic technology workplace.

Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:
