Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Reception in Wilmington, DE. You will greet visitors, control access, monitor security systems, and maintain a secure, welcoming lobby for a financial institution.

The role requires customer service experience and security awareness; licensing is preferred. This is a full-time, afternoon to evening schedule with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by following site procedures and access-control protocols.
• Greet, screen, and direct employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries; maintain visitor logs and issue credentials.
• Monitor entry points, alarms, cameras, and other security systems; report unusual activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and coordinate with staff and responders as needed.
• Support a professional lobby environment and deter unauthorized access.

As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Reception in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while monitoring access, assisting visitors, and communicating with staff and guests. You will help maintain a secure environment by observing activity, reporting concerns, and providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk of a financial institution by following site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and security-related policies.
• Greet, screen, and direct employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries while maintaining accurate visitor logs and issuing appropriate credentials.
• Monitor entry points, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Support a professional lobby environment by answering questions, communicating clearly with building stakeholders, and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
