Job summary

Allied Universal in Miami, FL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol Driver to serve clients across Retail/Malls and other locations. You will conduct scheduled vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence and deliver courteous service while upholding Allied Universal's values.

The role requires a valid driver's license and ability to meet physical requirements; training is provided and career growth opportunities are available. Shifts listed include Daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required where job is located.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

As a Security Officer Full Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a retail mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests, tenants, and employees. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail mall location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with tenants, visitors, mall management, and fellow Allied Universal personnel regarding incidents and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
