Job summary

Allied Universal in Miami, FL is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) to monitor and protect a premier retail/mall location. You will provide customer service, respond to incidents, and conduct patrols to deter security risks while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Qualified applicants are at least 18 years old for unarmed roles, with a high school diploma or equivalent, pass background checks and a drug screen if required, and have a valid driver’s license for driving positions.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Compliance in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, parking locations, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the property, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
