Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Presence Patrol in Miami, FL. The role involves patrolling, monitoring, and engaging with visitors to ensure safety and an welcoming environment.

You will respond to incidents, document activities, and work within a collaborative team to support a secure workplace for tenants and staff.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, loading zones, and property perimeter.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, property damage, and other security-related concerns and deter incidents with a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations calmly and according to reporting procedures.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Presence Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, loading zones, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, property damage, and other security-related concerns, helping to deter incidents through a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
