As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Risk Mitigation in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 05:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 05:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 05:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, property damage, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
