Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Austin, TX to provide customer service, deter incidents, and maintain a visible security presence across manufacturing and industrial facilities. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to alarms, and report daily activities to site leadership, while delivering professional, courteous service.

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial facilities, including production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual activity, facility concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding incidents and daily activities.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
