• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, drivers, and contractors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner and notify site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities per reporting procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrolin Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $15.16 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, delivery drivers, and/or contractors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
