Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Records in Burbank, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic media and technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while documenting security-related activities and using technology as needed. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, guests, and vendors at a media and technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, production areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
