Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Applicants subject to a background investigation as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, and perimeter areas and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access and support visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report activities.
• Complete detailed daily activity, incident, and patrol reports and communicate during shift handoffs.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support visitors and tenants with exceptional customer service, clear communication, and professionalism while using technology to document observations and report concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
• Monitor access to the property and support visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
