Job summary

Allied Universal in Houston, TX is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Operations to protect clients across commercial real estate sites. You will monitor areas, conduct patrols, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property representatives by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unusual conditions and security-related incidents.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:
