Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a full-time Unarmed Security Officer for a Richardson, TX location. You will monitor a commercial real estate site, provide courteous customer service, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Responsibilities include patrols, access control, incident response, and accurate reporting. Preferred licenses and CPR are noted; all applicants subject to background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Courtesy in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.07 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting observations.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or responding emergency personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
