Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Unarmed Patrol Operations in Lithia Springs, GA. You will safeguard clients, conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and deliver professional customer service to employees and drivers at a logistics location.

Role requires a minimum of 1 year security experience, basic computer use, and ability to follow site procedures. Schedule includes Daytime and Night shifts with a $15.00 per hour pay rate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge processes preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed) per state.
• Background check and drug screen as conditions of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and surrounding areas.
• Monitor entry/exit activity and verify visitor access.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate as needed.
• Report unusual conditions and security concerns to leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and driver access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Observe shipping and receiving activity and report unusual conditions, damaged property, unsecured access points, and/or policy violations to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
